At Capital Services, we want to keep you fully informed during every snow event. With our Capital Snow Alerts, you’ll receive real-time notifications, so you never miss an update about your snow removal service. Our goal is to ensure that you stay stress-free with our proactive communication and helpful tools like the Live GPS Map, Day After Service, and Online Support Centre. Here's how Capital Snow Alerts make snow removal hassle-free:
What to Expect from Capital Snow Alerts:
Go / No-Go Alerts: You’ll be notified when snow is on the way, along with a confirmation if our team is on standby or monitoring the storm. If snow levels don't meet the 5cm threshold for Standard service, we’ll inform you. Supreme clients will get daytime clearings for snow events starting at 2.5cm.
Action Plan: We send a detailed overview of our strategy for each snow event, including estimated dispatch times, planned passes, parking ban updates, and a link to our Online Support Centre if you need assistance.
Morning & Afternoon Updates: Get updates when our team leaves the yard (or around 6–7 AM if dispatched overnight) and throughout the day to track progress. You’ll also be able to request Day After Service for additional snow clearing.
Neighbourhood & Route-Specific Updates: We’ll send updates if there are delays or unique conditions affecting your route, keeping you informed of any changes.
Live GPS Tracking: Each alert will include a link to our live GPS map so you can follow our team’s progress in real-time.
How to Stay Fully Connected this Winter:
Opt-In for SMS Alerts: Prefer text notifications? Simply text W24SNOW to 833-429-2040 to receive SMS alerts. You’ll get updates on snow removal progress and have access to a GPS link for real-time tracking.
Add Family Members to Email Alerts: Ensure everyone in your household stays updated by adding them to your Capital Snow Alert emails. Simply opt-in through the provided link.
For Snowbird Clients: No extra steps are needed; updates will be sent to your primary email only.
