Terms of Service for One-Time Clearing Snow Removal:
Redemption Period:
Valid for the 2023-2024 winter season.
Must be used by April 1, 2024 (no exceptions).
Scope of Service:
Snowblowing of a residential driveway during a snow event of 10cm or more, where snow will be blown onto the homeowner's lawn/property
Does not include walkway shoveling, hauling of snow, or salting.
Homeowners' Responsibility:
Driveway must be clear of any obstructions.
Landscape features (e.g., corner steps, retaining walls) should be clearly marked or noted upon ordering.
Downspout extensions on the driveway should be removed prior to clearing.
Misrepresentation of Driveway Size
Misrepresentation of the driveway size will result in:
Only the size paid for will be cleared, or
Paying the difference for the correct driveway size.
Clearing Procedure:
Clearing includes one (1) pass only.
By default, the driveway will be cleared at the end of the snow event, following the City plow's passage on your street.
If an earlier clearing is required, it will be done AFTER all full-service clients have received their 1st pass.
Clearing Method:
Drivers will follow the width of the garage if the edges of the driveway are not clearly defined.
For a single (1-car wide) driveway, one pull will be made; for a double (2-cars wide) driveway, two pulls will be made, and so on.
These terms provide clear guidelines to ensure a smooth and fair snow removal process. Users should be aware of the redemption period, service limitations, and the importance of accurately representing the size of their driveways to avoid any issues.
